Same place, different time

If you've followed this blog, you've seen this lighthouse before. I keep going back, and although the subject matter is the same, a fresh scene always presents itself, and is usually one worth photographing. Now, it's not entirely good luck, as I only head out to the lighthouse when the possibility of an interesting sunset presents itself. But to quote a line (with a bit of artistic license) from the movie Forest Gump, "Sunsets are like a box of chocolates--you never know what you're gonna get."  Click on the image for a larger view.

  2. Haha, i tried to make it out there on Monday at the same time as you. Unfortunately i didn't make it...nor did i get out there tuesday or today, wednesday. Things just kept coming up around the sunset hours. Bummer. Seemed like this week was great for trying to get a shot out there as interesting clouds were still in the air with just enough space for the sun to break through.

    Thanks for sharing your photo.

  3. As an encouraging mum, if I can say so myself, I had a nice time recently with my two kids to decorate their room in our new house that we just moved into. There were lots of the children's art work, made at home and school, that we happily put on the wall.
Then we spent time together sitting in front of the iMac and looked through the big collection of digital images that Wahooart had for their customers to select from and have printed as canvas prints. The kids together chose this painting for their room, Ivan Horse by Edmund Dulac, that we ordered online to have delivered to our new house.
